5 Steps To Release Overwhelm

Are you feeling overwhelmed in your life right now? Being so sensitive is not only your greatest gift but also can be the biggest obstacle in your life.

As a full spectrum receiver you are receiving information from everyone all the time. The overwhelm is real. Not only can it be exhausting on all levels, it can also create all kinds of upset in every area of your life.

Being chronically overwhelmed can cause the following issues to arise:

  • Feeling unable to make decisions. When you're overwhelmed your energy field is full of information. It can make any decision difficult, even easy ones.

  • You can feel as though you have very little clarity about what it is you desire for yourself or for your life. Chronic indecision and feeling stuck or lost is common.

  • You may even feel paralyzed with no choice. Even though it seems there are many, there's none you desire to choose.

  • You may feel exhausted. Like your running but getting nowhere fast.

  • You may be emotionally explosive. Anger, rage, fury, guilt, sadness, shame, blame.... you get the deal and you may be in all of them everyday.

  • You hate the way you act or react but you feel like you have no choice. It's always just happening and you're powerless to control yourself.

  • You worry about anything and everything. You overthink your overthinking. And it seems you can never really get clear.

These are all common issues that come along with chronic overwhelm.

Here is a five step process to go beyond the overwhelm and return to the lightness of you.

  1. Start by putting your barriers down and expanding. Expanding out your energy system can provide you with instant relief and also help you to stop spinning in the energetic overwhelm. If you don't know how to do that check out this video here.

  2. Allow yourself to be present with the new space around you. What is the first thing you are aware of? This is probably something you've been "trying to figure out" for sometime. Write it down. Write everything down about it. Give yourself just a few moments to get clear about what it is you are overwhelmed with.

  3. Do some consciousness clearings. These clearings will assist you in releasing the solidified points of views about what you are overwhelmed with.   4. Take each thing one at a time and turn the "issue" into a question... Using question statements such as: What can I receive .............? What would it take to release this .......... with ease? What can I be to shift ........ to ease? Ex. Thought: "I'm worried about my daughter." Question: "What can I receive to release these worries about my daughter with ease?"

  5. Take some nice deep breaths and just receive. You are not the fixer of all things. You are a dynamic receiver of information yet you haven’t been taught to receive. When you use the steps above you start functioning differently in this world. The key to releasing the overwhelm is learning to receive without internalizing, figuring it out or resisting information.

You're spinning in overwhelm because no one has taught you to be the space you naturally are. You are a natural receiver. As an Empath, as an energetically sensitive person you came here to be a transmuter of energy. Giving yourself the opportunity to actually receive the energy will give you the space to change your overwhelm to ease. It’s time to stop struggling.
